Dr. Shankaran’s lecture title is, “Systemic Therapy Option for Advanced Neuroendocrine Tumors.”
She is a medical oncologist who specializes in caring for patients with gastrointestinal malignancies, with a particular focus on cancers of the esophagus and stomach.
Dr. Rocha will speak on, “The Role of Local Therapy for Metastatic Carcinoid and PNETs.” He has advanced training in surgical oncology and specializes in liver, biliary tract and pancreatic cancer. His medical interests include liver, pancreatic and biliary tract disease, gastrointestinal cancer and minimally invasive surgery.
